I heard the original audio to the tower. The guy literally died from embarrassment. Obviously he had mental health issues.

The pilot over reacted....he thought his career was over after damaging the plane. An accident like that for a commercial airline bound pilot would be a very big red mark on his flying record and he probably believed was a complete devastation for his flying history. It is an easy comment for us Youtube viewers but his feeling were much more catastrophic than we can understand. The momentary extreme rush of regret killed him. I feel sorry for him. Rest in peace. Nobody blames you.

This was *very* poor reporting, constantly showing text that he "jumped" from the plane, and saying that the NTSB "released findings" at that time. There had only been a PRELIMINARY report, which does nothing but "provides a synopsis of factual information collected during the on-scene phase of the investigation"
There were no findings, it simply reported the details so far, which included the pilots description.
The FINAL report in Decemeber 2022(the video here was uploaded in August 2022) said it wasn't clear if it was an accident or intentional, "Although the PIC and operator reported that the SIC’s departure from the airplane was an intentional act, there was insufficient information to support that assertion."
Similarly his apparent previous strong emotional responses would support *either* accidental or intentional departure, and seems more likely to be accidental due to poor judgment under stress, which is reinforced by him having already opened the window prior.
This video clearly gave the *false* impression that the NTSB determined that was what happened, as one look at the comments will show.

Ut on one description another pilot said he was goid maybe something with his mental health was distracting him to cause the mishap at first and that just made it worse, starting certain antidepressants can cause suicidal ideation and various other mental health issues

We have all done landing we didn't like but I think I can say for just about *all* pilots that we used it as a learning experience. Looks like that co-pilot had no business flying airplanes if their mental state was like that. Imagine if he had been alone.

Was he in another plane he hard landed ? I seen original audio and everything seemed fine and the guy just opened door and jumped ? I am still confused .

Bottom line is the Boy was a NUT. When you jump out of a running plane with no parachute for no reason, you got problems with something.

Not only did he fail in attempting to land the plane safely, he also failed to land himself safely 🤷‍♂️.

Y’all need to go back to the drawing board and learn how to write a story. That made absolutely no sense. What is this story supposed to be? I am guessing: copilot tried to land the plane but damaged the gear so the pilot took over, they did a go around and when back up in the air, the copilot fell/jumped out of the plane. The pilot then successfully landed the plane and was okay. The copilot died from the fall. Is this right???

Isn’t that pretty much what was reported the first time along with the audio from the pilot?

He would have received a lecture on proper landing techniques, perhaps some remedial training, but they wouldn't have thrown him from a plane sans parachute. The guy had some issues that went beyond the co-pilot's seat.
