Finally got a calm rain/wind free sunny day to test the Mini Warthog. First few attempts ended in quick crashes, went from being tail heavy (flip back and crash) to nose heavy (lawn dart crashes). I used small velcroed weights (wheel weight, bolt, nut, washer, lead sinker) on the nose of the plane. For this plane adding 7 grams to the nose was a little bit too heavy but 6 grams made the plane very flyable. With 7g the plane would fly but had a harder time pulling out of a dive and crash, tall grass on the field saved her from taking a beating.

Used Dollar Tree foam and hot glue for the build. Kept the paper on the foam to increase the foam strength.
FC from Z51 Predator
No control surfaces or servos, FC and motors (CW/CCW 8520 Coreless Motors) do all the steering and up/down flight.
AUW with 300mah 1s Lipo - 59.1g

Build modified from a plan I saw on Aerofred (lots of free plans there) by Doug Morris. Original plan is for quick easy build for a WhipSlinger A-10, I used MS paint program to resize the fuselage area so the FC would fit, extended the wings, shortened the length of the frame and built around that.
