glad i found your channel! this video is a lot easier to parse for me than your more technical stuff. spot-on comment mate. i guess analog vs digital is pretty much a generational discussion. sort of similar to the autotune scare or the disdain for quantization, and mostly led by hobbyists and prosumers. of course, if you want to imitate a specific kind of production, your best-served with using the production method that originated it. thats vastly more true for microphones and tape than it is for synths though.

At the end of the day, of course if you already have Serum then go ahead and use it but if you want „analog“ sound maybe better use Diva.
