To all my S1 users out there, we are truly blessed having Gregor as our teacher. Coming from FL and Pro Tools, I always had to get the knowledge piece by piece watching dozens of tutorials. Gregor - I have been using studio one for 12 years now, and I always refer to you as the main source of information for this DAW. You are ONE in Studio One and without your detailed explanations on features and functions, which I should have come to grips with years ago, I would have likely moved to another DAW. I started using Studio One because of Gregor. Not vice versa. I work in Ableton full time, still have Cubase from back in the days and need to use Pro Tools for swapping sessions when working at major studios, but I enjoy these Gregor vlogs so much, I actually started to want to use Studio One just because of how good the energy is here. Gonna make it my mixing DAW instead of PT. I love how Studio One can both simultaneously feel like Ableton in it's workflow speed and simplified Pro Tools in it's mixing mindset, with a bit of Cubase thrown in for when you wanna compose a bit. 🔥

the bounce function in StudioOne is so easy, I save a lot of time, and the best thing is that I can keep the midi track in the audio mix.

thanks for this video, very helpful but i do struggle with this. there are so many options its difficult to remember them, it would be great if there was some kind of wizard to ask questions about what you are trying to achieve, that way we wouldn't have to remember all the different options and what's included or not included in the render. Thanks

Oh my life. Forget how helpful the rendering tips were, do you know how much time you've just saved me in a current mix showing how to add an effect just to a single event? I have been putting off automating a specific send switching on and on for a particular phrase in a guitar part in a couple of places! That's so much easier than what I had planned. And flexible too. Gold dust stuff once again Gregor.

Holy Cow is Gregor fast. I have watched many of his videos and they all move at a great pace. For someone unfamiliar or even experienced, these videos must be watched multiple times to get all of the details committed to memory. The shortcut keys and zooming videos are like that as well. I can REALLY appreciate these as someone who likes to do things quickly and then explain them as I understand them, expecting my "audience" to keep up. :) Thanks for this.

*REQUEST* Please do an in-depth tutorial for Quantizing of intricate parts in BOTH... MIDI and Audio... when tracking in Studio One 5. As well as the Edit Window quantize features. Basically all things Quantize. I really need help with this and I'm certain many other people would appreciate it as well. Thanks!

From first sample til last sample plus user given offsets.
For example
export from 500ms before first sample until 2000ms after last sample

this would have helped SO MUCH when i was learning S1. i wish the functions were named in a way that made event/channel etc. clear
