I'm on hrt now because I found Dr Mary Claire Haver. I was having so much pain in my legs. That pain is gone. I'm losing weight again and feeling so much better. Thanks, Mayim, for having her on! ❤

Muito importante divulgar isso, aqui no Brasil ainda existem pessoas que estão mal informadas sobre reposição hormonal, e aí ficam com medo

I had no idea what was happening to me when I started menopause. The anxiety, depression and weight gain. Going to sleep was a nightmare. When I was introduced to HRT, figuring out how to adjust to it is relieving. Dr. Mary Claire is bringing more awareness to menopause and making it less taboo to talk about. Women need this!

OK, I did not do this HRT. My five aunts did not either and just powered through it, so I just dealt with it. No cancer. I'm 69.

Nothing will ever convince me that hormone replacement therapy is good.

I white knuckled my way through menopause. I do not recommend that. Get help if it is available. Nothing worse than hot flashes while working over a hot stove as a Sauté chef.

My 40 yo FEMALE practitioner just refused hrt for me because it would "increase my cancer risk."

Your body is stopping estrogen production for a reason. Playing with your hormones when your body doesn’t want them is a bad idea period. We need to bring common sense back

If i could ask this lady one question about HRT it would be can it help epileptic women manage or stop seizures when they hit menopause?
I am in my 30's and have had epilepsy since i was 10-grandmal seizures and absent seizures-
From 10 to 27 years old my seizures went uncontrolled with AED medications. In 2018 my insurance lapsed and i couldn't afford my epilpesy meds. I found Charlotte's web cbd oil and started taking that in hopes it could "hold me over"until my insurance got figured out and i could get back to my dr.
I have had 1 grandmal seizure since being on CBD and my dr. Supports me choosing to NOT get back pharmaceuticals. I am doing the best i have ever! Praise God!

I am worried that when i get menopause the hormone disruptions could cause me to start having seizures again. So, could HRT be beneficial to someone like me ?

(Yes, i will bring this up with my neurologist when i see them at the end of the year)😊

I had a hysterectomy at 37 and was on hormones for a few years. My doctor took me off of them in my early 40s because I was a smoker. I’m 53 now and no longer smoke but I wonder if it’s feasible to get back on hormones? I felt great when I was taking them. My skin is looking dry and wrinkly and my body stores fat in weird places and I don’t like it.

Well it effed up my mother, and imo was abused by her doctor, he kept her on them into her 60s. and she passed away early. Cancer is only 1 side effect/result. How much is she being paid?

I don't agree with this. I know someone who got breast cancer who was told it was from estrogen use.
