So far in this story, Hiruzen has done a better job at being the Hokage. Not so much that he could stop the Uchiha from being massacred, but he did manage to save the life of Hizashi, and properly care for Naruto as he needed. The entire village knows Naruto’s true name now, and even Naruto knows it. Due to this, he’s received a ton more respect and is receiving proper training as well from the right teachers. The question is, what will become of a Naruto who is loved, celebrated, and given more resources than he could ever truly use? There’s plenty of things that could happen. I actually posted a fanfiction based on what if Naruto and the village knew his dad was Minato. It’s called ‘Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze’.

I’m going to go ahead and say I switch Hinata and Sakura in teams and put Hinata on team 7 and Sakura on team 8. Hinata is simple at this point to combine the descendants of Hagoromo Naruto through Asura and Sasuke through Indra with the descendant of Hamaru Hinata. But originally it was because although Hinata has a crush on Naruto she’s not the type to let that hinder the rest of her team when needed which would make her a better balance for team 7 with Sasuke’s and Naruto’s rivalry which is more than I can say about not just Sakura but also Ino and any other girl from Sasuke’s fan girls. I even had it where she tried to get Sasuke and Naruto work together in the bell test which if it weren’t for the fact team 7 needed to pass as a team could of earned Hinata the rank of Genin to Kakashi’s opinion.


Don’t think Sakura won’t benefit from this switch. I plan to carry on that whole Sakura being a Genjutsu type and have Kurenai train her in Genjutsu since Kurenai is a Genjutsu specialist. Something Kakashi could have done in the beginning but didn’t. Sakura won’t be so useless now.

I can't help but notice that in all these scenarios that show Sasuke and Naruto at a higher level and requiring less initial training that their strides and improvements do nothing to shift Sakura and Ino's battle. Surely with better-developed teammates Kakashi would work to ensure Sakura is given more attention to make the team better rounded leaving Sakura also better off.
