I"ve got the same type paint pen exactly from the Chevy dealer and need to take care of some chips on the dually fenders.

Do not try using brush to brush paint along surface, just dab it. Lightly wet sand paint after it dries using a flat block. Go very lightly as not to take too much off. Use 2000 grit. Clean off dust, then dab the clear coat on lightly. Do not brush stroke it. Wait 24 hours, then lightly wet sand with 2000, then 3000. Clean and polish with light compound. Apply wax after all the light sanding marks are gone.

Never heard of rubbing compound before any recommendations also one last one. If you have to corrrect thr already dried on touch up because your new to this like me any solid approaches?

Do you wait for the paint to dry all the way, partially, or not much before using the compound to blend it?

You missed the fine point pen under the scratch point tip. There are three points on that pen, its amazing!

Thanks for sharing. Have a 2024 Toyota camry. Been about 1.5 years but a few scratches and scruffs here and there on the right front lower part of bumper. Also a little chip so this would really work for the chip. The scruffs and scrapes come from going in and out of garage. Looking around for something for that. At one of the car washes I went to the guy had some kind of solution where he would rub on it to get rid of it. I think it was two he used but made it look good as new. Dou you have a suggestion for that? Thanks in advance.
