Fun fact:
Darius is tall and strong enough to play forward in the NBA.
He's in the ballpark of 6'5-6'6 265, and that axe is over 100 pounds and he has UPS with it.

For reference: NBA's greatest dunker of all time, forward Vince Carter, was 6'6 220 during his playing days (1998-2020) (he's a future Hall of Famer too)

But seriously, this goes without saying but this is a masterclass for making a legendary. The idea that Darius is always dribbling the ball is one thing, but to see Riot actually go all in on the concept of “Darius Dunking on Opponents” and turning that into a skin is just brilliance. Wouldn’t be shocked at all if 5-10 years from now we find ourselves looking back and seeing this not only as one of his best skins still, but one of the standouts of all time.

the alternate universe skins that keep the character's personality and identity (bonus point if it is based off muduane stuff, just like dunkmaster) are so good imo

The only thing I like more about God king Darius is how his basic attacks, animations and so on just feel smoother. Like the auto attack is a bit delayed, which makes it less likely to cancel basic attacks. It just feels smoother to play.

It’s also crazy because they went for a very specific archetype of basketball player and it wouldn’t work any other way. Like he comes off as a very aggressive and angry power forward. The type of player that’s willing to hurt opponents if it means getting the play. And that’s Darius

Of all the skinlines I wish continued, it's this one (Ivern is not enough!) I'd love a bunch of epic skins that have new voicelines along the lines of Primetime Draven.. so many champs work for it
