A thousand episodes of Time Travel, two dozen British Companions, and Rory is the only one who gets to punch Hitler.

"Wait! This is 1938, we're too early!"

For a group of time-traveling assassins, you would think they would confirm the date of when the guy is supposed to be killed before doing the whole killing thing.

Looking at the Doctor's reaction, you can tell that is one guy he definitely wouldn't have voluntarily chosen to save

I can assure you it was unintentional.

Even if it wasn't an accident, didn't he have to save Hitler if it came to it? Like the Doctor said in Rosa this season, even the bad things have to happen...

rules of time travel:

1. Don’t talk to any of your past selves or relatives.

2. Stay away from dinosaurs.

3. It’s best if you don’t see the creation of the universe.

4. Don’t do anything that involves Hitler.

On that same day, The Doctor and his team have been given the Iron-Cross 1st class for their commitment and dedication to protect the Reich and the Führer himself.

The odd bit there is that, in-universe, the Doctor has committed an act of genocide that makes the Holocaust look like amateur hour by comparison, when he destroyed Gallifrey to end the Time War (or at least he thought he had at this point in his timeline).

Perfect tardis appears than reappears through fading unless plot demands it

Imagine how insulted you would be to be saved from one time traveler by another, then your rescuer recognises you and claims saving you was not their concern

Just hearing Hitler with a British accent (though you can hear Hitler and the robot having vaguely German sounding accents before the TARDIS comes in so this supports what I'm about to say) made me realize the in-universe reason why every character in the show has a British accent. The TARDIS purposefully makes the voices sound British when translating them because The Doctor is so fond of London. I don't know how I never put it together. I always thought it was just a easy to ignore plot hole due to only casting British actors given the studio is based in London, but the TARDIS just Britishified the voices for The Doctor and when the TARDIS leaves they could have any accent other than British and we just never hear it. *Mind Blown*

I loved Matt Smith as The Doctor (he is in my top 5), but honestly, unlike most other actors in both Old and New Who, his 1st Season was his best.
