I like what you had to say about pronouns! I feel like pronouns don't bother me as much as words like 'sir' or 'mister' but I rarely care enough to correct people. I did correct a friend who started calling me a girl after coming out as non-binary. Mainly because I wasn't sure if they understood I am not a trans girl, and it just felt weird. Most slang type words don't really bother me, but I do find myself gravitating towards more feminine ones.

I feel like it's more the intent behind the words, kinda like what you were saying.. Like if someone understand and respects that I am not a guy or girl but uses a gendered word I don't mind. But, if they are intentionally using a gendered word to call me that gender then it feels wrong.

Definitely agree we should respect whatever pronouns and words people find most comfortable.

Great video! Thank you

I was also able to be upfront and honest with my doc about being non-binary and wanting feminine effects of hrt. They were totally cool with it and got me on standard doses of Estradiol and a T-blocker. I did want to point out that you can get full feminizing effects without a t-blocker, but probably not on microdoses. You would need high enough levels of estradiol to be able to suppress the testosterone (which would allows for "full" feminization), but it can and does happen with just estradiol. I believe you also still get the physical changes on microdoses just ALOT slower. Not an expert, just based off the research/studies and anecdotes I have found.

I'm doing a nonbinary transition as well. It's been 1, 5 months. No visible changes yet. Only decreased libido and slower facial and body hair growth. My nipples are sore, but there's no visible breast augmentation.

I can relate to being called "sir" over and over again. One time a religious guy and his kid came to our door to talk about religious stuff. He called me sir multiple times.

Being a non-binary person who doesn't like gendered language and doesn't understand using titles like "ma'am" or "sir", this made me uncomfortable.

8:35 Great example - Person A mis-pronouns Person B, and in the moment, what should Person A say/do instead of apologise?

I ask because I have heard the opposite where trans folk say it sucks when people use the wrong pronoun and didn't seem to notice or backtrack/apologise.

I reckon if they're apologising profusely, that's better than pretending not to notice. Is there an in-between?

I'm agender and don't mind any pronoun. I once got called 'she' despite being a bald looking dude and I was like 'yeah cool whatever'

Hi, you said you have friends who are microdosing. Are they amab? I want to look androgynous, or I'd better say keep looking androgynous, but I don't know what to do. I'd like to talk to amab people who are doing microdosing.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really care about pronouns.
