【Melodic Rock/AOR】Forsale (Switzerland) - Stranger In Town 1988~Emily's rare collection

【Pls look at the top comment first】I knew this band in a very bad year because the frontman of the band Forsale just died in a motorcycle accident in October, 2010 as I just got this album in November, 2010, like a farewell ceremony. He is Steve Lee from the world famous hard rock band Gotthard. It is because our respected Gotthard comes from Switzerland that I have paid much attention to hard/melodic rock in this land of my dream.

This album was Steve Lee's debut titled "Stranger In Town" in 1988 when he was 25, but not his first band. Back to 1979, Steve Lee had already played as a drummer in the band Cromo. Compared to Gotthard, Forsale sounds much closer to pure aor, more smooth than Gotthard with big keys and tasty hooks. Supported by aor lovers, this CD has won great popularity though it is very rare and hard to be available in many countries. If someone didn't notice the personnel of Forsale, how many listeners can make out the vocals from Steve Lee? Apart from him, the guitarist Leo Leoni is also the member of Gotthard. From the picture shown at 03:09, you can see the very young face of Steve.

Now he has been dead for over 10 years. Remember his name as he was a rock hero from Switzerland, also a talented linguist in fluent Italian, German, French (the three official languages of his country) and English. Such quality but rare work should be kept in collection for fans and belongs to melodic rock forever.
