【Melodic Rock/AOR/CCM】Idle Cure - Take It 1986~Emily's collection

【Pls look at the top comment first】This is one of the best Christian release that I've ever heard. Idle Cure is absolutely a big name of CCM, whose music is called "the best example of cloning a sound for Christian markets" by The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music. They are welcome by loyal fans as their music is decent and clean with melodious tunes. These men always hold religious hearts to God. If you are a Christian, this is for you with your devout heart to enjoy. If you don't have faith in Christianity, let such a beautiful and peaceful tune soothe your heart. I select this track from their self-titled debut 1986, one of my favourites as well as many other fan's best choice. From the early works, Idle Cure played typical keyboard-driven pure aor, featuring Chuck King on guitars (afterwards playing for SHOUT together with Ken Tamplin, Loren Robinson and Joe Galetta). It was from their second album that they added more hard rock elements, bringing highlight in the live concert.

The lin-up of Idle Cure remains same from 1990 to present. I find they have updated Facebook page in recent years, very glad to know all the members still meet together after over 30 years' music career. That I read the spirit of Idle Cure is keeping on rocking and holding pious faith, all of which can be interpreted from their five studio albums as well as two great hits records.
