I often stop and have a chat to the Jehovah’s Witnesses that often stand near the train station where I live, I don’t believe in god myself but they are always nice and polite and don’t push anything on me

I know people make fun of JWs but they’re truly the kindest people I’ve ever met. I’m really thankful I met one and listened to what they had to say. I still have trouble believing in God at times, I was raised atheist, but I see how much good has been brought to my life ever since I started studying the bible with them.

I’m am a JW and we don’t force people to listen to us. It’s the person’s choice. Yes we are trying to save people’s lives and to preach to them, but if their not interested, Jesus says to keep going and don’t stop 😊

My grandma is a Jw and if someone says no she politely says “Okay have a good day” all she is trying to do as a Jw is save people’s life people nearly the whole world have been preached too which means the end is close
But you know some people aren’t interested and that’s ok too ❤

As someone who's been *raised* as a witness for my entire life, I can tell u this is exactly how they think. I've witnessed this exact train of thought happening in real time. Though they may not say it to ur face at the door (cuz that's lowkey creepy) that's definitely what they're thinking. They're tryna "help people" is what they say. Of course, anyone can choose whether or not they become a witness . But this is definitely the train of thought most witnesses have.
