I’m a cancer survivor who’s a Jehovah’s Witness. The Bible says we shouldn’t take blood transfusions or any of their other components like white blood cells or platelets. Yet we all forget the Bible also says each to use their own discretion if they decide to accept it. Sometimes there’s a need for something. All you can do is talk to Jehovah, at first the hospital/state took custody away from my parents so they couldn’t decide anything for me, violated mine and my parents religion and beliefs because they deemed I needed the blood and kinda looked at my parents like they were insane for willing to let their son with cancer die for not accepting blood. They sat me down with lawyers at the age of 15 to ask me if I really believed in my religion and if I knew the severity and understood, they couldn’t get it through their heads that I had already decided to not accept blood because Jehovah gave me a beautiful life with wonderful parents. He gave me a wonderful life and free will to do what I wanted, kinda like if you love something let it go? Because Jehovah loves me he gave me free will, and I decided to come right back to him. Personally I think Jehovah knows us all deep down more than we do, and he knows when we regret things and when we’re truly sorry. Jehovah knows I had no control over what they put in my body, Jehovah forgives me and everybody involved because he knows us and what we’re going through. It’s kinda like when you forgive a buddy because you know he’s had a bad day ok I know it’s not black and white like that or maybe it is, I’m just saying Jehovah is content with me and everyone else. He loves us and understands that life sucks, I mean he created it. And he too feels our suffering and he cries too for us. Yet it’s not time for him to act because he has a plan for everything. His prophecies always come true. Don’t focus on others, focus on yourself and your friendship with Jehovah. Because in the end… it’s just gonna be you and him and no one else will matter at that point. Live your life contently. Be humble, help others, love others. That’s all he really wants in the end

I left the truth when I was 17 years old, I’ve had a great relationship with my parents and my family for the last 28 years. I started studying again, eight months ago. I love Jehovah very much.

As a Muslim, This is incredible because it’s the closest to our beliefs as well. We believe in only One True God. The only difference we believe Jesus (peace be upon him) was a prophet/messenger of God.
