The older friends thing is so real. In your congregation if there are no kids your age to hang out with, have no choice but to befriend others much older or younger than you since you can’t make friends with worldly people.

My family is a family of circuit overseers and a lot of the kids my age were leery or even hesitant to socialize with me so I was always grouped with ppl who were in their 30s or 40s and at a young age of 10-12 you don’t realize that there were social hierarchies in the congregations. It was weird when I went to school and I didn’t know how to socialize outside of what a 30 year old would say.

True Christianity isnt Jehovah witness. true Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ, dont let the Jehovah witness cult twist your mind. pick up the bible and get to know the Holy loving God for yourself, Jesus who is the one and only true God and Creator came to earth 2000+ years ago to go to the cross to pay our sin debt in full. His sacrifice was sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death and that true and only God is JESUS! And He did all that because He loves us and wants to save us and have a relationship with us. JESUS is the only way to Heaven, only He can save us from sin and from hell ( Luke 5:32, John 14, Romans 6:23). Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him, He won't cast you away from Himself if you come to Him. He calls us all to repentance, He loves us and wants to save us. believe and have faith in God then the Holy Spirit will come in and lead you to repent of your sins and God will forgive you of your sins and cleanse you by the blood of Jesus and you'll get born again by His Holy Spirit and have His salvation, you will become a new creation (John 3:3-19). I'm a jw and the thing is it's not about the religion it's your parents who drag you to meet people who are older but I think they are sweet to (not all tho) I get Bible studys from a 40 woman but she is sooo sweet I'm sorry if your time as a jw was bad i hope that one day you can be one again ❤

JW are kind and nice people, they are humans, everyone can be nice and kind and not being part of JW. It's not because they are JW they are special, just being a human makes you special if you have good morals, kind and nice to others. The real problem here, is what they are part of and what they are teaching.
