I have an Lg refridgerator and I Am certain that the refridgerator is damaged( it suddenly after 1.5 week it stopped to have the known easy on the ear sound that lg are known for and which my former lg had, but this is the replacement). when it does a defreeze cycle it uses a lot of time to get back to set temperature which is 2 Celsius and minus 18 celius in the freezer. From when the refridgerator stop for a long time and then drop to 7 or 8 celsius in the fridge( it stays higher then 5 celsius for 45 minutes and freezer as low as minus 5 or 7 celsius. the whole process uses to get the freezer over 18 celsius again it uses alltogether 1 hour 15 minutes. This is not normal I think. also temp logging shows average of 5 celsius on the top shelf on the fridgerator(measured for 3 weeks). My former lg combirefridgerator...was completely diffent. when set at 2 celsius..it was rock steady on this always not when set on this refridgerator set on 2 degrees...it is mostly under 4 degrees..but after usage could easily be 5 degrees...and the fridge is not at all responsive like the other one and also slower capacity efficiancy...when i fill it up with some new food and drinks...it take a long time to lower the temp...my old one started cooling alomost rigth away and cooled down the air and food much much faster. so the function of the fridge is faulty...but the service man says it is normal even when my old one(which is the same with all round cooling like samsung)..but it lies between 2 or higher like 3.5 degrees...I used to have rock steady at set temp at 2. also the same with freezing if is not reactive and does not imediately freeze down the new bought food..it is slow..but it get there but takes double the time...the old one started freezing effectively almost right away..
