So often, religions use what is essentially magic to explain anything and everything that people don't know. The only difference is that instead of a 5-letter word, they use a 3-letter word.

Christian: "Cuz there couldn't be stuff unless there was God."
Atheist: "Why not?"
Christian: "Cuz God says so."

Nicely summarized. This type of effect is so disengenuous and illogical. It's basically the whole strategy in right-wing politics. Immediately assert that you're correct and ignore reality/criticisms, then use your self defined correct-ness to pretend to be right about whatever you want. It's so much easier when you mix in religion too, because the logic is circular and you can just say, "Well obviously I'm right because we wouldn't be here talking if God didn't make us. Mic drop".

But at the end of the day theists believe in magic and atheists don't as simple as that. That's why I don't really waste my time anymore to talk to theists because they just believe that stuff happens magically just by asking sky daddy 🤷🤷

Just the fact thay different religious people have different ways of interpreting religious experiences, their interpretation of the world under a religious view and even god himself, is reason enough not to take anything they say as an explanation for everything.

It's their own (not an) explanation for things... That's it.

Best way to annoy a Christian or any other theist is "I don't believe you" and stop there. It will drive them nuts but it uses their argument. A bold statement with no substantiation. Of course they can not question my disbelief because it is a decision I made and requires no substantiation.
