Hi Jennifer! YES, YES, YES! Once again, this was an interesting and useful lesson, thanks! Ok, let's dive in! Listening exercise: 1) Whatever she dishes out, you can give it right back double. 2) We're all just muddling through, aren't we? 3) I'm excited to nerd out on it! 4) Of course I'll stick around. 5) Wash up for dinner, guys. 6) Now make sure if you leave, you lock up the house. 7) And while he was yammering on about whatever. 8) They've been mouthing off to me. 9) Yeah, but I maxed out my credit card. 10) I'm moving on carbs. I scored 9/10, not bad! Sentences 6-10 were "thick" accents, and thus more challenging. The quiz at the end of the lesson was a good recap!

Quiz: 1) nerd out on, 2) muddle through, 3) mouthing off, 4) maxed out, 5) dish it out, 6) stick around, 7) washing up, 8) lock up, 9) yammers on, 10) load up on. A minor mistake in question number 5, otherwise correct.

10/10 I really like this. I have been watching tons of shows or movies in English for about 5-6 years (I am German) and still discover words or phrases I never heard before. English has such an incredible amount of words and phrases. I learnt one today actually "to wear a hair shirt" which means "making a situation more unpleasant/uncomfortable than necessary" keep up the good work because it definitely helps 👍
