Shelly Motion is a Wifi Motion Sensor that triggers Alexa routines & doesn't require a hub!! Shelly's new Smart Home Wifi Motion Sensor can trigger Alexa, doesn't hibernate, and has up to a 3 year battery life.

Even if you're into the whole privacy thing this Wifi motion sensor can be configured without an app by using Shelly's Wifi hotspot and can trigger http requests for systems such as home assistant, Smartthings, Hubitat and Homey.

Shelly motion is the most customisable Wifi motion sensor on the Smart home market and can be used to create Alexa based alarms, trigger alerts to your mobile phone, or simply run Alexa routines for turning lights on when you enter a room. Shelly motion also monitors for periods of inactivity to get Alexa to turn lights off when you're not in a room anymore.

The Shelly Motion sensor's battery is rechargeable using a standard mini USB charger which makes it ultra convenient.

Happy Saturday everyone! I said it in the video but I wanted to be clear, these sensors CAN'T trigger google routines, only Amazon. This is Google's fault as I understand it. The rest of Shelly's line up works with Google just fine. You can buy the sensors at Shelly's website below :D

Just installed them. Slight pain connecting but the benefits are amazing! I reckon I can take 2 steps before it activates my lights which compared to others that are be upto a minute this is amazing! Great work as always Paul!

Just got a couple of the sensors yesterday, it's amazing the difference it makes that the light comes on immeditely when you enter the room rather than 10-20 seconds later. Had bought the Shelly bulbs a few weeks ago and would recommend them and the sensor to everyone.

Bought the shelly motion sensor, charged it fully and set it up on the 5th of March. I'm recharging it now for the first time on the 26th of May. Not quite 3 years but and not just quite 3 months. I was skeptical of the 3 year battery life but the sensor does work well all the same. I do wish however they make the setup process easier but otherwise it's a useful piece of tech 👍
