What SD Cards to use for Sony FX30/A7IV?

This is my guide to what cards you can use in the Sony FX30 at what frame rates and codecs.

Hey I just started using a SanDisk 128GB v90 300mb/s in my A74. I filmed in XAVC S codec and only files recorded in 60p were "hidden" when the card was inserted into the internal card reader, but I can see the footage on the camera screen, AND when my import window for FCPX comes up, but I can't actually get or see the files on the card in Finder. Why would the frame rate matter? Is this a bad card?

I picked up a Pergear 260gb type A card that they released recently. I have the a7rv and the a7iv and for both cameras it is noticeably faster in buffering when shooting burst mode. And what a difference it is uploading the images to my iPad Pro and my Mac Studio. I know pergear is not a known name but I’m willing to give them a chance. I paid $179 on my business account with Amazon and they gave 10% off so it was around $160 for 260 gigs. I paid $175 for a 80 gig Sony type A that fills up super fast on my R5. And trying to buy a reputable uhs-ii v90 with 260gb Will cost even more than Pergear. I liked it so much I picked up another one.

I got the Sony Tough v90 cards for my a7iv, and I had massive buffer issues. I even had to send them in multiple times and yet still weren't fixed. I got the Kingston v90 and those have been fantastic so far.

I just got a used Sony PMW–EX1R on eBay! Shot some footage on an SXS to SD Adapter Card. When I Uploaded all the Files via my SD Card Reader the Folder on my Capture SSD had many individual Folders that each contained Subfolders! How do I batch capture my footage from my Sony SD Card all video in one Folder? Like the way we used to, 'batch capture' our whole hour of Mini DV Video! What Software do I need?

Now that we can shoot DCI 4k, is a V60 card able to shoot DCI 4k at 48fps? I think the math works out to be right at the V60 mark but not positive. Please confirm. THANKS.

I do appreciate the content on this video. Please remember that folks who need to view this may not be as familiar with terminology, etc. so it can be very difficult to take in what we need to hear when you blaze through the numbers and menu settings as fast as you do. I can barely tell what menu you are on before you change it again. Please slow down.

I have a v90 card. But I'm unable to shoot in s&q 120 fps (5x slow) even in hd. Can anyone suggest any remedy ?
