Kang falling into the engine could have been how he developed timeslipping and in Kang Dynasty we see him timeslip around the multiverse affecting things.

Doom should’ve been introduced in Civil War, as Ross was addressing the Avengers about the Accords…he mentions that Sokovia has actually divided into two countries after AOU…the western part is still called Sokovia and is aligned with the US, hence the Accords but the eastern part is now Latveria and is ruled by one man…a call back to how eastern and western Germany divided after WW2…and from there we can see in the background Doom’s influence in gaining technology and weapons during Black Panther (vibranium) Ant Man and the Wasp (Pym particles) Black Widow (Taskmaster program) Captain America and the Winter Soldier (SS serum) then he could’ve had his own official intro, like Werewolf by Night…and feature a glimpse of the FF4 in it…now Doom is established and you can still have Kang as he has been in the MCU so far.

I think replacing Kang with doom based off of the failure of Quantumania is extremely idiotic. The main thing everyone praised was Kang & Jonathan Majors performance, and in Loki one of the best performances was from Kang. Kang isn’t the problem, it’s the direction that they’re taking him that is making him look less of a presence than what he actually is. If they could refocus and actually properly plan this out Kang could easily be seen as a major threat

According to the Weekly Planet Podcast Johnathan Majors had a clause in his contract where only he could play Kang variants. He did this realizing the potential of the Multiverse, once all his legal stuff gets resolved either he will void a morals clause or he goes back or something else.

This is how I think it should happen: Dr Doom was a brilliant scientist born into a wealthy family in latveria but after his mother and family died and his country went into poverty and ruins he created time travel technology and travelled throughout timelines meeting kang variants and in order to avoid being pruned by the tva he used kang variants as a decoy causing a war between them to distract the tva

In the Secret Wars (comic) Doom specifically mentions Kang is a future version(variant) of himself. I could see them using that to transition from Kang to Doom.

Unless Doom kills Kang, I can't think of another way a character as big as Kang just... disappears. I hope they do it right.

If they HAVE to switch to Doom, it would be an amazing way to introduce him by making Kang dynasty and KANG winning then right at the end Dr.Doom just somehow comes in and kills him and all his variants to prove his power up front and then end of movie
