HOW HARD IS TO REPLACE TIMING CHAIN ON CAR

In this video we will show you hard hard is to replace timing chain on your car. In order to replace the timing chain on most cars you do not need to remove the engine out of the car. However, some cars require special tools for removing and installing the timing chain. Confirm that you do not need any special tools. Also, be careful with the crankshaft pulley when installing the timing chain. Some crankshaft pulleys are not key and as a result you need to install new bold and torque it to the right torque specs otherwise your timing may jump and the pistons will hit the valves. We personally replace the timing chain every 60-100 miles depending on the car.

Great video! I have a 2017 Accord 3.5L V6 36K miles. How many miles should I wait until I get new timing belt? Or should I just change it cause it's been 7 years? Have you ever seen a low mileage high year cars timing belt look bad or break?

I need help... I gave my Ford F150 to a home mechanic to change timing chain, water pump and the oil pump.... now my truck won't start.
He states the timing chain was so full of grud and he tried to clean it as much as possible but when he put everything back and he says some of that grud got into the motor and is now blocking the oil from passing to the timing chain and now he wants me to either go pick up my truck with a tow truck or allow him to practically tale the motor apart, see if the heads are bad or replace the motor all together.
I feel he's lying to me and wants more money for nothing.
Can this truly happen? Can grud from a timing chain replacement go and mess up the motor?
Please help.
