My mom sang this to a 6 year old me on a very rough time for me. For complex reasons I started to fall into depression, stopped eating and she told me I even stopped playing and just lay in the couch, crying. I can't even imagine her heart breaking looking at me like that. She comforted me singing and taught me to draw my eyes to our Lord. Now I'm a grown man, and a father, and this song makes me tear every time I listen to it, and can feel her arms and her love like it was yesterday. (':

I replayed this song more than I can count, and in that moment of frustration and a restless heart, this song reminded me that I don't have to do it alone, that was never the intention. I can still do moments of tension with God, because His desire is to pull me out of them. My brother reminded me of this song today. And even today, it makes sense to cast my cares.
