Glad the hacks are back x love the cupboard rail idea. The best hack I've got to offer you guys is that every week I put my kids fabric lunch boxes in the washing machine on a hand wash cycle. The care label says to sponge clean only because of the thermal foil lining but I've been doing this for a while with no problems. They get cleaned up great and keep nasty whiffs at bay.

Hi Melissa & Chad~I wanted to say thank you for sharing these absolutely useful and inspiring videos. I found you all around the 30, 000 subscriber mark, and it really has been beautiful to be witness to your rise above and beyond 100, 000! Many congratulations :) My significant other and I collectively took your bathroom cleaning video and tackled our own with reckless abandon a couple weeks ago and were amazed at not only the cleanliness result but the energetic blessing, as well. We had a blast together and were astonished in the following weeks at what an impact that combined effort made in other areas of our home life. Who knew that our shared mission that day could be such a powerful exercise in togetherness and productivity? AND, the bathroom stayed clean for three weeks. We are both deeply inspired and very grateful. So, thank you both again for sharing what you've mastered. We're fond of all that you both have to offer. Have a great weekend! P.S. Love the hacks, of course :)

This has become one of my most favorite channels! For clogged shower drains: After pulling out the hair (and various other glunk), I pour straight bleach down the drain, let it sit for about an hour and then pour boiling hot water down after it. If your hot water is super hot out of the faucet, then you can skip the boiling. This melts away any remaining glunk, kills bacteria and makes it smell better.
I also use straight bleach for toilet clogs (I live with 4 men who know how to pack a punch to a toilet). Same rules: let it sit for about an hour and pour down some hot water. Sometimes I have to do a few rounds of hot water before it's clear. It definitely cuts down on the nasty splashing around with a plunger. (I'm disabled and not really strong enough to plunge.) If you still have to plunge, a squirt of shampoo or antibacterial hand soap into the water will help with any oder.

I collect veggie peelings & leftovers, coffee grounds, egg shells, etc. for my compost pile. I recently learned that paper can be put into the compost pile so I collect my used paper towels and tissues for the compost pile too.

lingerie bags: I used to to use them to wash baby bottle parts. I also have a laundry basket that is nothing but mismatched socks. Before I put another sock in it, I dig around for the mate first.

I love your videos. Could you do one on how to clean mold? Or tell me how to clean mold from my windows? I live in FL, so they get bad..

I absolutely love these vids. I suffer from some long term illnesses and all that so watching these is a lot of fun. It's nice to see something made a lot easier through some careful thinking. Thanks so much for sharing this and I look forward to the next one.
