No sometimes bleach can be overkill to the materials, like the glue. And sometimes, bleach isn’t necessary. Remember always wash in COLD water because hot will interact and could weaken the glue bond and also the paint bonds on shoes. (Both from experience)

Lastly, if you ever have a white fabric that has that tricky yellowish stain that doesn’t lift from cleaning, the easiest method is to get toilet paper, and wet it. Make it damp not dripping water or completely squeezed out. Right in the middle and compress it to the stained area and let it sit till the tissue dries. This awesome event of capillary action lifts the stain from the fabric to the TP. Toss the TP and perform again if needed!

I rescue old pairs of converse that people don't want anymore. That's if you outgrow them or they get too old and worn out, making them not wearable anymore. Eventually I'll start up my own hobby where I restore old pairs, I have no idea when though. But keep that in mind when you're about to give these up. I only rescue regular highs, lows and shoreline. Not platforms, seventies or extra slim fit bleach will tear the shoes apart in pieces.
