I read to her every day and played music for her.
My daughter told me after she woke up that she heard my voice.

When I was 18, I was in a severe car accident. It put me in a coma for 10 weeks (2.5 months). The doctors told my mom that I would die. When that didn't happen and I started to out breathe the respirator, they said I would be a vegetable for the rest of my life. When I woke up, they said I would have the mentality of a 6 year old. I am now recovered with some memory issues and pain but I am alive. I'm a wife and a mother. Please don't give up hope. Only God knows when our time is.

I clinically died at 26 years old and remained in a coma for a month afterward. Due to the severity of the brain damage, my mother was told that if I came out of the coma, I would most likely not be able to walk or speak anymore. Here I am, walking and typing at the age of 29! Thank goodness they found a facility that’s willing to give her the time needed to heal and continue on with her recovery. I’m going to say a prayer for you and your family! ❤🙏

My uncle was declared brain dead. They said there was no hope and lo and behold. He woke up sharp as a tack! Don’t give up hope. God works miracles! I can’t wait to see her story on the news❤

My Nan was supposed to be brain dead we didn't let them turn off her life support, she woke up after 2 months in a coma had to learn to walk, talk, write. 25 years later she strong and healthy.. Fight for your girl, Drs are sometimes wrong

Stroke at 34 ✋️Suffered major brain damage. Told to accept, I'd never walk talk write drive cook dance groom dogs.... Im now 38 and fully recovered.... and I rehabilitated myself from home with the help of my dog❤ It can be done. She is young. Strong. Strong willed. Resilient. While the brain does not rejuvenate itself, you can still re-train it. Pull thru baby! We are all praying for you❤

All of these stories are so beautiful! I could read these all day! I pray she makes it home to her family and makes a full recovery. It's so amazing to see them fight for her life! She still has so much life to live 🙏🏽❤️

I have two examples in my family.

My grandmother at age 70 had a stroke and declared brain dead. We fought. One month later she woke up, went to rehab and lived until age 92. Yet, we did stimulate her daily at hospital with massages, talking and a radio playing 24 hours with headphone.

My only son at age 4 months had a stroke within hours after receiving an immunization, an allergic adverse reaction. He received last religious rights at hospital, their direction. He survived, no disabilities, graduated college and today a business man, management.

Hope does exist and brain does have the amazing ability to repair.

My husband got in a serious car accident when he was 19. They said he’d never live and if he did he’d be a vegetable. He was in a coma for 4 months and then awoke. He was in a care facility for a year and had tons of PT. He had to learn to walk, talk, write, etc, again. He was never 100% back to normal, partly because he wasn’t dedicated to his PT, but we got married & had 4 kids. He worked full time & sometimes had a 2nd part-time job too. Don’t take her off yet. My husband’s accident was in 1970. Medicine has improved immensely since then. Give her a chance to heal.

PLEASE KEEP FIGHTING, in 2013 I was “brain dead”.. I was 25 years old, I'm 36 now. I got to live my dream of becoming a mother with my best friend, we coordinated our pregnancys and now we get to watch our combined 7 kids grow up together. None of that would have happened if my family had let them pull my plug. This beautiful young girl deserves a chance to live her dreams❤❤❤
