The best part of the song is that it's not Giganto's theme, it's Sonic's. Reminds me a little of What I'm Made Of, but this is way more intense and I'm all here for it.

I remember having the biggest smile on my face when this started playing. I was thinking “they finally did it” and I couldn’t have been more happier

The fact the first boss hits you with this is a strong closing to the first island and really sets the stage for good the rest of the game will be.

It was surprisingly fun to this point but this is where the game really steps it up.

I'll never forget my first reaction to this. I knew already that the game had its normal bosses as Super Sonic fights and was hyped for that, but when Super Sonic came down flying from the top of the screen and this song started playing, I knew, JUST KNEW, that Sonic Team really wanted to make something special, something unique, something Sonic, and you wouldn't imagine the smile on my face. Thank you Tomoya Ohtani, thank you Sonic Team, thank you Sonic.
