I just realized something: The Titans all hold the Chaos Emeralds on their heads. The EXACT same spot where Perfect Chaos held his brain. Not to mention how the pilots looked like Chaos 0 and the Titans sharing similar attributes to Perfect Chaos (The jaw of Wyvern and the long neck of Giganto especially)

In an age where basically everything about a game's release is spoiled before it even comes to store shelves, the fact that they were able to keep this under wraps is amazing, and made the reveal that much more impactful

This has a big "2000s edgy AMV" energy, which honestly fits perfectly.
"Unapologetically edgy and having fun with it" Sonic is best Sonic.

This theme isn’t Giganto’s boss theme, it’s Super Sonic’s theme of telling Giganto that it was screwed from the moment it encountered him

The fact that neither sonic frontiers, Kirby or Fire emblem three hopes were nominated for their OSTs is truly criminal.

Edit: some people are saying only the titan themes are good... they clearly never listened to the cyberspace songs

This isn't even the final boss, the is the first major boss of the first zone.

They went in hard for this game, good lord.

The shift in energy when this song starts.. Before that you're worried about this boss fight, but once you collect the last Emerald and Sonic transforms.. You truly feel Undefeatable.

What's interesting is there's one line in this song that almost entirely describes the general ethos of the lore writing in Frontiers:
"Running from the past is a losing game; it never brings you glory"
Frontiers doesn't reject any of the more controversial pieces of the beast that is Sonic's history, it recontextualizes them.

Man, I can't describe how I felt when this music kicked in and flying around as Super Sonic. It was insane, I've never felt so excited playing a Sonic game. We need to support Sega and let them know this is what we want going forward!

I love the gradual start up to the song, especially in game.

You see Sonic simply float there, arms crossed, and one of the most serious expressions all game as he just sort of waits for the Titan to notice him. It's like "Here I am, bring it on."

And then he cracks that little smirk as the heavy drums kick in...

My heart can't handle it.

I don't get why some people are so shocked this is a Sonic song, Sonic always had incredible songs like this. This just adds even more to Sonic's rich musical legacy.

You know you’re in for something special when the first major boss of the game is on par, if not higher than actual final bosses from previous games in the series in terms of scale, presentation, and hype.

I can't wrap my head around the fact we live in a world where Kellin Quinn sings on a Sonic track. This slaps way too hard
