Got a 47 dodge wd 21 truck, got the crank out windshield fixed and cranking in and out like butter, got new gasket for outside of windshield frame that will seal against truck frame, can't get groove of rubber gasket in channel of windshield frame, going to try gluing it with this, just seeing if you have had any experience with my situation and if there's anything I'm missing? talked to people who I bought gasket from and they're not much help, they do sell a brand new window assembly with gasket installed for $1000, trying to not have to go that route since my windshield is working, thanks
