The two most effective things I've had are prescription strength and OTC Nizoral, and also prescription Clobetasol Propionate. I wish it weren't so impossible to see a dermatologist around here 😢 I have seborrheic dermatitis.

Zinc suks. Use that 1% keto shampoo from walmart. Wet your scalp, apply, massage, and leave it for no more than 2 minutes. Wash it off. Do it twice a week until there is nothing.
I had this issue since I was 8 with flaky patches that never went away not mattering the zinc i used.

I was using dandruff shampoo for a long while and then a hair stylist recommended trying a salt scrub. I switched to regular shampoo and used the salt scrub about once a week as needed for a few months and now my dandruff is gone
