1. There will always be a market for the Beatles as long as there are new media formats and re-mastering.

2. They will always outsell new music since like Broadway or Westend shows - if people are going to spend money they'd rather do it for something that they know from familiarity that they're going to love.

That's why revivals are usually successful and why the Beatles will always sell.

Hi David, always a pleasure to watch your videos, people don´t apreciate experience and knowledge you´ve aquired in the least 40 years (or so). They forget you worked (or work) at Abbey Road Studios. I like Antology and Get Back documentary, both sources off information we didn´t have access before. But I dislike ALL the remasters they made since 1987. But I like all remixes Giles Martid did to Sgt. Pepper, Withe Album, Abbey Road (not Let It be as he used the overpruduced Phil Spector mix) and that´s It: I didn´t nuy the last 4 remixed albums just use Spotify (compressed as there is no uncompressed service in my country yet with the best system I can afford. Valve preamp. Mosfet mono power amps, B&W 802 Matrix . BTW I don´t use U$1000 RCA or speaker cables, not an audiohile, It´s and expensive hobby, but I like valves and their beautiful 2nd harmonics as voltage gain and solid state for power) (Sorry David, English is not my may language so there may be mistakes) G.

Give it another half century, and Beatles will end up in sales were Mozart, Bach and the likes are today - obsolete among average people.

David… this is nothing new. Bach’s music is around 300 years ago, and it is still relevant today. Compared to Bach, the Beatles are beginners. And he didn’t have handlers recycling his old stuff.
