Certainly, George often felt slighted, but no one ever mentions that his wife, Patti, has just left him the week before. The day he left the band is the day he went to get her back. So I don't think it was just the band that was upsetting George.

That’s how you know when somebody is done. They get up and they walk out, they don’t yell, they don’t shout, there’s no anger, just a calm “I’m done. See ya” As much as I love all four of the Beatles, I honestly can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same if I were George myself.

How brilliant was that camera shot of George's reflection in the black piano right before he got up and quit the band. Obviously was an accidental camera shot choice but works so well in the context of what's happening.

This video here is heavily edited and isn’t the order in how it is in the actual film.
However George did them all a favour.. none of them liked the studio, none of them wanted to do an expensive gig in Africa or Italy or wherever and none of them wanted to do a tv special.
When Harrison returns he brings George Martin, has everyone relocate to a place with better acoustics, brings proper recording equipment with him and went to a Ray Charles concert where he saw Billy Preston play, he asked him to drop by the studio this help creativity and the negative vibes.

Fascinating viewing. Having seen the first two episodes, I've seen it in context and makes sense.. I completely understand how Harrison feels. John and Paul didn't have the same respect for Harrison as they had for each other. Not just musically but on a personal level as well. It comes across throughout.
John and Paul having there little moment together on two of us while Harrison is frozen out was the straw that broke the camel's back. But it was a great moment seeing John and Paul working so intently together. Something Paul had been craving imo. Lennon had been a little distant and cold toward Paul before that. It was a beautiful complex moment, the song might as well of been about John and Paul then the sub-plot Brooding in the background. Wounderful stuff.

Poor George... I understand what he did, he didn't deserve to be treated like that! He will always be my favourite Beatle. I love his voice, songwriting, personality...

This film shows how after years of being on the same page, they eventually walked in different paths. Everything from the style, different personalities, and even to the haircuts shows how each member was drifting apart. A Breakup was without a doubt inevitable
