The official trailer for #TheBeatlesGetBack is here! The Disney+ original docuseries, directed by
Peter Jackson, will be arriving on Disney+ just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Made
entirely from never-before-seen, restored footage, it provides the most intimate and honest
glimpse into the creative process and relationship between John, Paul, George, and Ringo ever
filmed. Be sure to check them both out, and don’t forget to watch “The Beatles: Get Back” when
it rolls out over three days, November 25, 26, and 27, 2021, exclusively on Disney+.

Directed by three-time Oscar®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy,
“They Shall Not Grow Old”), “The Beatles: Get Back” takes audiences back in time to the band’s
January 1969 recording sessions, which became a pivotal moment in music history. The
docuseries showcases The Beatles’ creative process as they attempt to write 14 new songs in
preparation for their first live concert in over two years. Faced with a nearly impossible deadline,
the strong bonds of friendship shared by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and
Ringo Starr are put to the test. The docuseries is compiled from nearly 60 hours of unseen
footage shot over 21 days, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg in 1969, and from more than 150
hours of unheard audio, most of which has been locked in a vault for over half a century.
Jackson is the only person in 50 years to have been given access to this Beatles treasure trove,
all of which has now been brilliantly restored. What emerges is an unbelievably intimate portrait
of The Beatles, showing how, with their backs against the wall, they could still rely on their
friendship, good humor, and creative genius. While plans derail and relationships are put to the
test, some of the world’s most iconic songs are composed and performed. The docuseries
features – for the first time in its entirety – The Beatles’ last live performance as a group, the
unforgettable rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, as well as other songs and classic
compositions featured on the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.

An exciting new collaboration between The Beatles and Jackson presented by The Walt Disney
Studios in association with Apple Corps Ltd. and WingNut Films Productions Ltd., “The Beatles:
Get Back” is directed by Peter Jackson, produced by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono
Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Peter Jackson, Clare Olssen (“They Shall Not Grow Old”) and
Jonathan Clyde (“Eight Days a Week”), with Apple Corps’ Jeff Jones (“Eight Days a Week”) and
Ken Kamins (“The Hobbit” trilogy) serving as executive producers. Jabez Olssen (“Rogue One:
A Star Wars Story”) serves as the film’s editor, the music supervisor is Giles Martin
(“Rocketman”), Michael Hedges (“The Adventures of Tintin”) and Brent Burge (“The Hobbit”
trilogy) serve as the series re-recording mixers, and the music is mixed by Giles Martin and Sam
Okell (“Yesterday”).

"It's gonna be a comical thing in like 50 years time" No Paul, we're still crying about this mate 😢

A lot of people cry at movies. I think that this is the first time ever that I've cried before seeing the actual movie. The Beatles were our youth. Seeing them again, even on screen, is like getting back a bit of our youth that we miss so much.

I don't know what to say. Watching this makes their music feel so fresh. You can see the love between them despite their differences. Thank you Peter Jackson for giving Beatles fans this gift. I am speechless and waiting breathlessly.

I really couldn't imagine the world without The Beatles. Their songs are masterpieces and truly timeless. Message to future generations, never let their songs die!!!

I feel like Peter Jackson is doing the best thing possible: letting them speak for themselves. It is the only way that this should be done. And if we had to wait 50 years for it to be like this, so be it.

I'm sooo stoked I don't know if I can even handle their humor. I just can't get over with “Something in the way she moves attracts me like a cauliflower”

My wife and I had a discussion a couple years ago about who was/is the most influential band or singer. We concluded its The Beatles. No band or singer has had such an impact. Music, fashion, culture and other trends have never been impacted as much as this group. 50 years after their break up they are still revered. They took the world by storm and we are feeling the effects to this day.

I love how John and Paul are helping George write "Something"... John's "just say whatever comes into your head, 'attracts me like a cauliflower' until you get the word" is just brilliant...

The fact that Peter Jackson directed this is astonishing, he absolutely loves the Beatles and he must be so proud to be finally directing something that he’s so passionate about. Not to mention he’s directed The Hobbit and TLOTR. Genius of a man

Does anyone else watch this every couple weeks, just to make sure that you can still feel things? This gets me revved every time I watch it.

The emotion in this is unreal and like unlocking a magical vault, knowing this is unseen. At the same time, it's like watching something filmed yesterday. I know this will make me emotional, seeing them all interact, good and bad, it's beautiful. Truly monumental for us Beatles fans! ❤️

i got teary-eyed, nostalgic and sad watching this, knowing full well that John and George (and Billy Preston) are no longer around. I remember my youth listening to them for the first time, and how i loved their music instantly! I feel they had not reached their peak yet as a group when they split up. My most beloved group ... part of my soul is their music!

For some reason John's "yeeeeah" 3:34 makes me so happy. I miss him. His awful murder was the first celebrity death that hit me really hard as a 9 year old kid in 1980. My parents were devastated and I knew someone really important for them and for the world was taken away from us forever. And although I was growing up in the 80s and loved some of the music I grew into a Beatles fan like everyone. I can't wait to see this gem.
