I prefer the size of the 6in 2018 Paperwhite. So much easier to hold with one hand.

I find the circle light reflection on your eyes distracting. Maybe try placing a piece of paper or similar diffusing material in front of lighting source.

I would go with the kids version because it comes with a case and you can remove the kids profile and its a normal adult kindle

Kindle Oasis can go 6 weeks without charging? More like 6 hours. And, yes, I used all necessary settings in order to save the battery. It never worked.

I had other issues with it, like a permanent e-ink spot. And don't think I didn't try refreshing the screen among other things.

Although I still think it's a great device for reading, and the buttons were great, the flaws were a deal breaker. Maybe I'll try my luck with Paperwhite 2021.

I think the Signature Edition is pretty good for the readers and with a Mediatek chipset, it has wireless charging support as well.

I received my Kindle Oasis ( 10th generation) about two weeks ago and it has been one of the best investments I have made in my life, not only to read everywhere but on top of that I save a lot of money I download all my books for free from the internet, upload them to my Kindle and voila

Whereas before whith regular books I had to pay for them individually like everyone else, a kindle is more practical and way cheaper in the long run

I have and love the Oasis, but the battery--ugh--sucks.
