Dr Spry from Fresh Dental Care explains the difference between crowns and veneers. Crowns or caps are typically used to restore teeth that are badly worn, decayed, or have been treated with a root canal. Crowns help to hold the tooth together and restore the esthetics and function. Veneers are typically used to cosmetically change the shape and shade of teeth. They can in some instances remove minimal amounts of decay.

Thanks for the informative videos. I completed medical school in New Zealand and we perhaps had a grand total of 3 dentistry lectures in 6 years of training! Your videos have helped fill in a lot of gaps in my basic understanding :)
