I had a filling on #18. 2 years later, a chunk of my molar broke off. I'm not blaming my dentist for cracking my tooth, but I don't chew rocks. He had to take the filling out, put a new one in, drill all around my molar, and take moldings to send off for a permanent crown. My temporary isn't pleasant, but it isn't painful.

I’ve gone down this rabbit hole because my tooth and crown snapped and are hanging by hopes and dreams right now. But when I got my crowns, my mom who was an RM for a dental chain told me to whiten my teeth beforehand so I can get the lightest swatch that would look right on me. The information that is different is I was told that porcelain (that material used for my crowns) CAN stain. However, it can be whitened back to its original color but no lighter. What you’re saying is that they don’t stain, but mine stain just like my natural teeth and whiten just like them. I’m curious as to why that is? Difference in material?

I mean they do whiten back up to where they were so I have no complaints. And they really did last 10 years 😂

I got my 8 top-front teeth done in crowns. I regret getting them. So sad I can never recover my natural teeth having them shaved off so much. I had large gaps between my teeth, should have just accepted my look. I was young and didn't think it through.

I got crowns 4 front teeth and 2 each upper corner teeth and lower cox when I was young I ate alot of 🍫 I get all my teeth crown up 2014 and I still haven't visit my dentist lol
