I recently got Sony a6700 and it has feature to record in camera proxy, but I was not making use of it. After watching your video, I will definitely use in camera proxies to edit my 4K 60/120 fps videos. Thank you so much.

Hello Desiree. Thank you very much for this tutorial. I would like to know if you can mix proxy media and native media on the same time line . My project is a captation with two different cameras. The first one is in high res (Panasonic GH5s). The second one is not so high (GH4) and doesn't need proxy in my Premiere project. Thank you for your answer ...

My GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition 4k footage is still jittery! Proxy mini icon is hilighted blue on my timeline! Proxy Icon also toggled to blue! P.S. I see the, "watermark" on my Preview Screen but not on my Program Screen!

hey, what happens if you imported the proxy file(didn't attach). can you still relink it to the original clip?

Thanks for making tutorial, but this assumes re-linking every file individually which in projects with hundreds and thousands of clips is not practical. Or is there a way the proxy clips will auto-link despite the SO3 tag? It would be logical if the proxy clips made in camera could have exactly same clip names, right, and these could be simply placed in a separate folder on the edit hard drive? I've been making proxies in Premiere using new M1 macbook and it's taken almost two whole days to make 8 hours of proxy clips.

is there a bulk action to attach all proxies? Seems tedious for large projects
