Sometimes I think period is like family members they annoy you but when you don't see them or lost then it's traumatic

I feeeel you. I cried just like this when I got mine back after 12 years of going without a period due to being underweight, over training, stress, and restrictive eating patterns. When I started eating more healthy fats and stopped being in a constant deficit, I got mine back and now have a healthy 3 year old. This is the first time in 10+ years I’ve had a period every month for exactly ONE year. 🎉

I lost my period to anorexia for years and after several months into recovery I finally got it back and it was one of the happiest days I’ve ever had. I finally felt human and in control of my body. Always be nice to yourself and if you’re struggling please never lose hope and find the strength to seek help. You are worthy of freedom and happiness! ❤️

Getting period sucks but when you don’t get them, it’s a trauma 🤕

Diagnosed with PCOS, my period is still regular but other symptoms that I got are depressing. Everyday things are a struggle. Anyone else with the same issues l, be strong, talk to someone, or keep a diary if you got no one. Exercise, eat well. Take care of your body. Love yourself.

I lost my period completely during a crazy weight loss. When I started gaining some weight back it came back. Now I am building my relationship with my body where I work out and listen to my body, where I eat and listen to my body. Took a long time to bring it back. About 3-4 years.

I lost my period after chemo and took pills to just force my period to happen. everyday I thanked my womb for the hard work. this year, I got my period back and pregnant as well. I thought I wouldn't be able to have my own baby but I'm blessed that I will. I just remembered by watching this short how important it is to be nice to your body no matter how desperate it feels.

As someone who is struggling for 6 years with PCOD. I'm still struggling and fighting through it! Girls we can do it!! I hate when my friends complain about getting early periods or even normal periods. Like damn y'all atleast get them regularly. What about girls like me who are struggling to get a regular menstrual cycle.
Take care everyone!

I used to lose my period for months and would get so happy/relieved when it would finally come back. I’d literally be praying that it would come back soon because I was worried something was seriously wrong with me (pretty sure it was just stress) ✋🏽😭

i lost my period early this year and i changed my whole life, routine, lifestyle in order to get it back, i am not giving up and i will be kind to myself and get it back, it will take a crazy about of my time and care, but wish me luck edit : nah, loosing period is not cool, is not healthy, stop bullshiting that it is just because you don't want to get pregnant or marry someone, period. I don't want it too, I want to have a healthy body

I totally felt this. I lost mind with Covid trauma and thought having kids was over - I felt so much like this. I can't even begin to tell you how lonely it was and what a relief.

Y’all, I’m speaking about this as a female, be grateful you get your period even if you don’t want kids! If you don’t get your period, it’s a bad health issue. Don’t work out everyday. Just do it on good free days.

I am very fortunate to have never lost my period no matter what happened to me. But it is one of my biggest fears as it s so directly linked to my chances of having a baby. I feel you and happy you are back on track.

I lost my period due to underweight (for the Internet, this is normal weight) And I even thought that I was too fat, and I trained like crazy. And I was worried that I would not be thin, as I always was. It turned out that I was not fat, but I came up with all this while watching YouTube and Instagram, etc. After I went to the doctor, I realized what I had sunk into. Now my periods are back, when I didn't limit myself to food and exercised just to feel better. Please, take care of yourself!!! Look less at other "ideal" people on the Internet.
