Many single moms CHOOSE to be single. Not all of us WANT a man's money nor do we need to depend on you. Stop the bullshit stigma that single moms suck! Im so tired of reading the comments. if anything, were WAY STRONGER THAN A MARRIED COUPLE and you know that's a fact because many of us go out and hustle and don't live off your child support or the state, I think people know how well most of us do and they aren't strong enough because their too dependent on other people. Dave Ramsey is a legend! People find too many negatives in this world and don't praise like they should and be proud of others and would rather bring them down. Your insecurities and projections need to go elsewhere. Proud to be a single mom and I WILL put the work in for my child!!!

Now I have more knowledge about personal finance. I just subscribed to your channel. Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth in this recession. I’m 47 and my husband is 51, we are both retired, no debts. We are currently living a frugal and financially savvy lifestyle and generating passive income even during this recessionary period. Our commitment to saving and investing in the financial market has enabled us to maintain this lifestyle and continue earning monthly passively through investment., ;

I love videos like this. You did a great job explaining everything . I get questions a lot on how the budget as well. Honestly I just love to hear how people do things because you can get different ideas from every different family and personality type.

Kelly, Dave Ramsey IS a genius. I’ve been following his plan for over 10 years. I slip once in awhile but just get back on the train😀 I am retired, I wish I had known about this plan when I was your age, keep up the great work!

I follow Dave’s plan too and it has been life changing. Having money set aside form certain things keeps us from being broke all the time. Plus we are paying our one and only debt down at a faster pace because we can.

I followed Dave Ramsey's plan and have been debt-free for years now. Very freeing.

Hey Kelly I watched this two years ago when you posted and now watching again. Can you do an updated finances video? I potentially may be becoming a single mom soon and trying to get it together. How is the car sinking fund coming along? With your exes health situation is the new home being put on pause or are you looking at different homes instead?

I use Dave Ramsey also and it's a high life changer. I saved almost $2000 in a separate account so I don't touch it unless I need it for a emergency. I recently paid my car off 2 years early since I budgeted and took whatever I had left towards my car including the stimulus checks and tax returns. I'm paying off school and should be done by the end of year and then I plan on saving for the 3 months as well. Thank you for sharing this!

I follow my own plan. I had never heard of him till alot of Youtubers have mentioned him. I'm now a SAHM with twin toddlers. I worked before I had them as a financial advisor, all my paychecks went into savings we lived off my husband's income. We were able to buy 2 brand new cars in cash with no payments. Our vehicles are 2 years old now. We have a visa that we use and pay off at the end of the month. Our house is the only debt we have. Thank you for sharing this information!

My employer offers auto deposit with my paycheck to my checking account with my bank. I set up auto transfer to my savings account so the money automatically goes into that account. This helps keep me on track and I don't ever miss a month without transferring.

Basic budgeting 101 the problem is they don't teach the younger generation this in school and that is the problem why kids just getting out of high school and college age are so deep in debt because they have no concept of budgeting even in the simplest form like you are speaking it's all common sense but most very young people count their chickens before they're hatched and have overspent their monthly budget....
