Why have it? I can barely have the auto insurence carrier pay a xray bill from a accident and im using PIP.. U also need a attorney to make a claim to get your policy limit. That attorney needs money. Its all a scam

If a passenger in my vehicle is injured, due to my being hit by an uninsured driver, and sues me for their injuries, then shouldn't the passenger have been carrying uninsured insurance? Somehow I'm stupid for not buying uninsured motorist insurance, but everyone else has an out because they can sue me?

Do I need to buy a policy for each auto I own? I have 8. My insurance company told me a year ago I only needed to pay for uninsured motorists on one auto that it transfers to all my autos, a few days ago they said I need to pay for it individually for each car. Obviously I will be finding a new insurance company if they are that confused.
