I got into comics big time during covid, secret wars is by far one of the best multicomic stories, I hope they do it more justice than the secret invasion show (which was also a good storyline that the absolutely ruined in the tv show)

The idea for Spiderman 4 multiverse was Sony's idea to make money and they ended up winning, Marvel didn't want to do that. But your theory makes a lot of sense and I hope that's what happens

Marvels been failing so hard it does need a win. The response to doctor doom was mostly excitement- some comic fans being mad as it didn’t really make sense (no hate to them at all I agree mostly) but with such a positive response marvel kinda has to, due to the lack of money it’s been getting, due to no one liking the new characters and storylines. Even if the storyline to the new movie could be awful, people will watch it for the nostalgia and the actually good actors
