Shift and F12 is a good substitute for Number 1 (Control & S)

How can i set my preferences so every-time I type the letter "i" by itself it becomes capitilaized.

well.. the underline and bold is kinda unnecessary.. if you allredy used your mouse to select the text why not just click the underline instead of moving your hand to the keyboard?

I am facing a problem; in microsoft office applications, shortcut keys do not work.
For examples:
CTRL+C to copy
CTRL+V to paste
CTRL+S to save
CTRL+A to select all text
All of those do not work

Here in Canada and in the UK we say zed rather than zee. It's just how the English language works.
