Sean Olive is a legend. I conversed with him shortly over 15 years ago and he was already a master back then. He has probably forgotten more about hearing, psychoacoustics and audio engineering than most of us will ever learn. A true living (and yet way too little known) legend. A must to hear, if you have a chance!

@headfi Jude, please take a look at USB-C to 3.5mm dongle-DACs. This is completely overlooked area and many people are using their IEMs with their phones. Now that 3.5mm headphone out is finally disappearing, the need for (and information about) a proper small USB-C 3.5mm DAC-dongle is growing exponentially.

What would you consider too loud with IEMs on the LGV30? I can get to about 30 out of 75 with the FiiO FH5 and FA7 before it's too much.
