I'm 66, and I was born into evangelical Protestantism.
Late in life I had my fill, walked away, was received into the Orthodox Church, and never looked back.
My little Antiochian mission parish is growing exponentially, a lot of young families, but especially with young men.

I'm an ex-Muslim who was reunited with Christ at the end of 2021 and found Orthodoxy around mid 2022. I came into Christian denominations with not much prior knowledge which actually helped me look deeper and follow my "stupid questions" deep enough to get me i to Church History.

Mainly to make sure I don't fall into the same trap as Islam which I was brought into.

I lived in Algeria, North Africa, upuntil a few months ago. And at some point I felt cut out of Christ's body and almost barred from joining. With the 0.8% of official christian presence (and sero official orthodox presence) in my homeland.

It has been a bit over a month since I attended my first Divine Liturgy with my husband. And we're absolutely loving it!

May our Triune God bless you immensely and may He have mercy onand lead all Truth seekers to the fullness of Truth and to His Rest. Amen ❤☦️

My story is very similar, I was a radical liberal in high school and went from new age to theistic satanism, and I had a radical encounter with God and threw all of it away at 19. im almost 22 now and im currently a Catholic student missionary, and after looking into Orthodoxy, I have really begun to fall in love with it, and am currently attending the Divine Liturgies and I feel so close to Christ.
