Sorry I’ve not posted too much lately. Sometimes I can be really down on my work. Shout out to my little brother for helping me get a little confidence back. He made me listen back to all the songs I did this year and it really helped. I really hope you like “The Samurai.” One of ya’ll requested it in the comments and I was really inspired by my time in Japan to write it. Gave it my absolute everything. Love you all so much! Four years ago, I started listening to your music, and it completely changed my life. Back then, I was in such a dark place, feeling like I was stuck in a deep hole with no way out. I was only 15 years old, just a teenager with a broken heart, and I didn’t know how to handle all the pain I was feeling.

Your songs were the only thing that gave me comfort. They were like a light in the darkness, something that made me feel understood and less alone. Even though you didn’t know me, your music helped me in ways I can’t even fully explain. It felt like you were there for me when I needed it most, even though we’ve never met.

Now, here I am at 19, finally finding the words to tell you: thank you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, even without knowing it. I’m doing so much better now. Life is brighter, and I’ve grown so much. I honestly never thought I’d come across your videos on YouTube again, but here you are—still creating, still shining, still helping people like you helped me.

It’s amazing to see that you’re still here, working hard and sharing your gift with the world. Please stay safe and healthy, and know how much you mean to people like me. Brother, you're music is energizing. I remember around 5 years ago I had a bad break up, one of your songs spoke to me. It honestly helped me come to terms with what I lost and refocus myself. Your biggest critic is yourself, always. Don't listen to the voice in your head, listen to the people that use your music to push through life. You have a one of a kind voice and the music production is cinematic as hell. You remind me of when I grew up with Zack Hemsey and his music.

All stars begin with no effort, continue to burn to provide light to accompany the darkness but never once stop shining. Keep going Nathan.

I just wanted to say, when I first heard your music a year ago I immediately fell in love. I loved your voice, the texts, the beats, everything, and it's just helped me through a lot of dark times ('cause a lot happens within a year, for better or worse). I remember the first song I heard was "Don't forget me", and it got recommended right after I lost my great grandma (youtube and its timing is...something) and it honestly just helped me get out all my feelings.

What I think I love most about every time you post your songs, outside of them being absolute brilliant masterpieces, is how so many people end up relating to the lyrics, connecting the with sound or content of the music, or share a piece of their own story with you as a result of it. It's something you rarely see nowadays with any musician, whether big or small, so seeing it so consistently with your work shows how much of a genuine impact you have on so many people. And I hope, since you said you've been feeling really down on your work, that the replies being so thoughtful, empathetic, and vulnerable gives you the worldview that your music really has the ability to change lives, just like it has mine as well over the 5+ years I've been listening to you.
