Considering the suicide rate jumps up massively AFTER transitioning... yes I'd say people regret trans surgery.

When the tavistock shut down and became lots of little clinics focusing on mental health it just makes me think of a bunch of rats scattering. I don't think these doctors and so-called therapist should have gotten away with the crimes that they've done.

Gender Affirmation Surgery and the like for Minors is absolutely wrong. Kids don’t know what’s good for them. But, Adults di! And if Adults want to have Gender Affirming Care, then, I’m all for that! But, Kids shouldn’t go through this process.

I don't believe gender affirming medical care is a one size fits all. I do however entertain the idea that gender identity issues have a biological basis as our environment has become overwhelmed with hormone afflicting chemicals and changes that could potentially be causing hormonal differences that are affecting how children are developing biologically and contributing to gender identity issues. In essence- being biologically based and therefore normal. I don't however subscribe to surgery for children. A child is in process and as such their identity is not yet formed until sometime in later puberty. I think the openness of gender difference is creating children to question their identity and that question for some individuals might not be based in their biological framework. I believe our world needs to get over its backward thinking about human difference and embrace change as it unfolds. Notions of homosexuality as being "curable" is nonsense. Sexuality is proving to be more fluid than conservatism prefers. We are not living in a world where black and white thinking can put gender identity in a box somewhere in the attic. It is not an out of sight out of mind issue. It is an issue that is very much part of our evolving humanity. Think about the effects that hormone injected meat, microplastics, pesticides, herbicides, pollution, carbon, etc. and it's effects contributing to global warming. We are as humans dependent on our environment and not separate from the changes taking place. As above so below. All the effects on our environment are contributing to changes within the human organism.

I feel bad for those who regretted transitioning. I undergone gender affirming surgeries when I was in my early thirties and I wish I had the chance to do it when I was younger.. I became happier and never felt more normal after my transition.

I just had surgery, like on Monday and I'm so so so happpy. I was worried about regret and obsessively read detrans stuff but my body is mine now. It's not going to fix my life, but it has made it easier to be me no th outside and being misgendered and being able to take off my top in my own room when I over heat. And that is so joyously positive and I can't stop smiling. I'm home in my body, it's not perfect but whose is? I'm not going for that, I'm going for being me (:

People can be so conscious of their looks and how uneven they are.

The likelihood a teenager will admit they made a giant mistake, immediately after surgery, is not a high percentage. However, a huge number of people in their 20s are in an immense state of pain, regret. Don't believe me, just check Youtube.
