Vespa not turning over what I did to fix Vespa won't start issue.
If you have a Vespa starting problem then it could be a number of things. In this video I will take you through the steps I took which covers common scooter problems and problems with scooter not starting.
This model is the Vespa GTS 300 not turning over and focuses on the Vespa starting problem. This is a modern Vespa with fuel injection and no kick start. The steps in this video should be applicable for any modern Vespa that won't start or a modern motorcycle that won't start.

Disconnect Vespa battery in this exact order;
Negative cable first [-]
Positive cable next [+]

Connect Vespa battery in this exact order;
Positive cable first [+]
Negative cable next [-]

7:30 Multimeter check battery to make sure it's charging.

I had a start issues with my 2018 Vespa... I always kept maintenance up. I have the bills to prove it. This began in 2019 every couple of months. It was odd behavior, where randomly it wouldn't start after I came from the store or an errand. I would tow it and miraculously it work. Eventuallyz I started waiting it out. This occured bad in 2021. The problem with diagnosing it was the Vespa would act completely normal at the shop. Naughty thing, that Vespa. It had about a good 14K miles on it. I did ride it practically all year round, to and from work. It unfortunately got knocked over during the September hurricane in NY. Though I have indoor parking I was caught in the city and it was left overnight. In January I get my 2022 Vespa GTS 300 in Arancio Impulsivo. I miss my red Vespas. I actually had two. The first I bought pre-owned in 2015. Im averaging about one every 3 years, at this rate without ever having an accident. I hope for a longer life span with this next one. I hope to not have start and stop issues but Im curious what if your issue was not your battery, what would you have suspected? I know it wasn't my battery or either of my keys.

Thanks for this video. I would like to jump start the battery but live in a city and the vespa in outside with no nearby outlets. Is their a product you think may help with this?

I am just about to purchase a scooter 125 cc, and the vespa has been suggested because apparently it's very good for long rides, very comfy so to speak, But when i googled this particular bike there was a suggestion, that they are not so good after all and have quite a lot of breakdown problems, is this just hype or are they full of probs, I am going to buy a brand new one and thought i had better do some research after reading this article, And advice would be good, i love the look of them,

I brought my GTS300 home after a tune up and unfortunately I let it sit without even a battery tender. Now I can't even get the dashboard to light up. I replaced the battery but still nothing. Any suggestions?

hi there, my piaggio liberty 125 makes a quiet clicking sound from underneath the seat when i try to start it and nothing happens. battery shows 11.5v with very slight drop from the break light. when i try to start it there is no drop in the voltage whatsoever - does it mean that the circuit does not even make it to the starter motor or is it what healhy batteries do normally and perhaps i should check the starter motor. Thanks
