but I've always said that mathematicians "don't know when to stop" :)
"imaginary unit" is big nonsense in Мath.
actually it is expression with number "1" and two operations "-" & " root" with this number and according to science Logic and Scientific Method for obtaining of knowledge, it is not correct to call it number. (only people who do not distinguish between numbers and operations with numbers, can be called "complex numbers" - numbers).
on practice imaginary unit, "complex numbers" and "complex plane" are only unreal models (without real practical application).
it's too funny, when in Physic some people trying to describe processes from our 3D world with unreal 2D model of "complex plane" :)))
by the way, if in model on first axis is real number and in second axis is "complex number", what number must to be on third axis in 3D model of 3D real world? :)))
I will be believe in "usfulity" :) of "complex numbers" when somebody prove to me:
1. in formula sin(x) + i.cos(x) = e^(i.x) replaces in both sides "x" simultaneously with a some number, calculate them separately and by this way prove equality.
2. write calculation way of root( - "some number") in a binary number system, to let us to know how computers make this :)))
