TinyMaker is an open-source and palm-sized 3D printer. We've spent more than two years designing prototyping testing and optimizing this printer. If you didn’t get a chance to get a kit, you can head over to Indiegogo now:

this looks strangely official and i cant tell if its just some engineering students class project or an actual product

If this could be produced for $99 - $120 dollars with a small curing station it would be a very easy buy. For those newbies looking to get into resin printing it would be a fantastic start.

I'm so sad that I didn't see this earlier, it would be a great place to start for resin printers with the whole not producing a large mess and all. But I'll wait and see when the reviews come out and see if the final product is reasonably priced.

If you only ever make small parts, this is perfect. Rings, miniatures, small replacement parts or plastic washers. And being battery powerd you could take this to cons to print replacement parts for costumes !

This guy has no fear lmao. Handling resin with no gloves and probably no eye gear. Printing with no lid

It would be great if product promotion videos with safety risks started by showing the user applying the appropriate PPE, especially those where the risks may not be visually apparent. Good on the 3DYT community to cover this via comments section!

Damn, I saw this video just now and didn’t realise that the kickstarter was already finished.
Totally wanted to invest in getting one of these for myself.
Either way, I probably will do so once they are available on your webshop.

Please make sure to send some printers to reviewers so people become more aware of this printer and can see reviews about it.

This is pretty cool. I totally understand there would be a market for portable 3D printing, but if you had to print with it being plugged into a computer, you'd need quite a large bag in order to carry everything you need.
Laptop, cables, the printer itself, resin, wash & cure station, gloves, glasses, brushes and other tools for handling and cleaning, and all the other stuff that comes with resin printing.

Looking forward to following the progress of this. hopefully by the second or third generation, it'll be something I'm ready to buy multiples of as gifts :)

for those who dont know, careful with resin printing, it releases toxic fumes

Not bad at all! I already have a big FDM 3D printer for big items, but resin printers are just vastly superior for small, tiny things that need a lot of detail, and this would be perfect for that!

Looks nice and cute but it is just better to go with regular size printer. Still you have to have space for it, still you will make a lot of mess and it will emit fumes so you got to purify air.

you mean the kickstart already finished??? This is amazing

Honestly this a great idea since I would only use resin prints for very high detail on very small parts, anything bigger would go on a regular fdm

Looks brilliant to me! Small items are where SLA-printers really stand out. Large items can be printed with FDM for the most part. A small printer can fit anywhere and the post production box looks clever.

This is a revolution in ultra-small 3D printers.

Great love the concept, I was wondering if you are going to provide upgrades kits for the screen. Increasing the print quality=?
