I’m the least qualified person on this forum to point it out, but the Fendertones added a female backup singer on this song due to the fact that Marilyn Wilson sang backup on the original. Gotta love the dedication and attention to detail.

One of my favourite Beach Boy's tracks. I *love* the way that, when everything drops out, there's an early (mistake?) entry on the la-la-la's etc. on the original, totally reproduced here. Such attention to detail is praiseworthy.
Pity the guy in the grey T-shirt on guitar looked so utterly bored! 😉
